Vic had achieved many successes during his time at Rex Produce, now he was inspired to create his own company to bring his passion for produce to North America. Vic and his family moved to Florida to begin their new chapter, Tomato Specialists Inc., creating new ways of fair trade between Canada & United States.

Vic served on the CPMA Board for many years in the eighties and early nineties and was a leader in recruiting new members and exhibitors for the association. He was extremely active on a number of committees, and was a strong advocate for strengthening fair and ethical commercial trading practices in the Canadian & US marketplace. Vic was recognized for his contribution by being selected for the honorary CPMA membership and lifetime achievement award.

On December 26, 2008, Vic passed away and left us missing him, but our hearts full from the legacy he left behind. His family and collogues will be forever grateful for his passionate work in the Produce Industry.

Today, Vic has inspired his family to carry out his legacy of passion for produce and fair trade around the globe. We have made it our life’s mantra to keep his legacy alive.

Tomato Specialists Inc., has grown into a global company, working with growers and receivers around the world, bringing fair practices and exciting programs into the marketplace.
